Program Manager
**This position is contingent upon contract award** Amentum is now hiring a **Program Manager** position in support of Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PM FPS) and Product Manager Ground Sensors (PM GS) at locations both CONUS and OCONUS. Primary work location will be Fort Belvoir, VA. This project will provide PM FPS and PM GS a multitude of product support activities to include spares, warehousing/kitting management, maintenance, transportation, shipping, fielding, equipment operator training, contractor equipment operators, field support representatives (FSRs), systems sustainment and design engineering, and supplier or total asset visibility management of Integrated Base Defense (IBD) and Force Protection (FP) family of systems (FOS). **Job Duties and Responsibilities:** + Direct and provide leadership to contractor and sub-contractor teams working with local, State, or Federal government programs in accordance with existing procedures, applicable laws, and government requirements. + Oversee desk teams, field subject matter experts, specialists, and engineers in the execution of duties that may include preparing proposals, writing contract terms and conditions, engineering services, site surveys, installation drawings, ordering and delivery of products, configuration of data management, training, logistics support, preparing and disseminating information regarding contract status, and reviewing contractual obligations. + Implement government programs through a risk and oversight approach for all phases of program activities; identify risks and problems, proposes solutions, and provide timely and accurate contract deliverables. + Develop and interpret policies in specific program areas, and provide leadership, coordination, and authoritative advice to top officials in the development of cooperative relationships, resulting in the formulation and execution of progressive and comprehensive programs that meet local, State, and Federal goals and objectives. + Direct, administer, and evaluate programs, policies, and procedures in the required program areas. + Lead a group of employees in carrying out a government program, administering and carrying out program requirements and activities, and assure compliance program activities with laws and regulations. + Ensure the effective management of the assigned program areas. + Manage large, geographically dispersed project teams. + Must be well versed in full systems development life cycle, enterprise-wide network engineering, strategic information planning, business process reengineering, structure and management practices. + Must be able to identify and mitigate risks to the program. Must be able to manage to cost, schedule and performance. + Other duties as assigned **Required Qualifications:** + Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a SECRET Clearance. + Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, or a related field. + Possess an active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. + A minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience in U.S. Army supply chain management with relevant experience within the last fifteen (15). A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with business process optimization, strategic sourcing, supplier/subcontractor management, financial/cost management, field support and readiness management. + 10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
