Program Manager

The Global Occupancy Planning team within the Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) organization is looking for a Workplace Occupancy Planning Program Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will oversee a regional portfolio supporting the regional Fac Ops team with a focus on space management & occupancy planning. Through a cross-collaborative team approach, support the program framework, space & occupancy data analytics, future planning, and leading stakeholders through the space journey.  You will cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and utilize metrics and data to develop and implement comprehensive space and occupancy plans for Red Hat’s regional offices. Your daily tasks will vary greatly and will include leading stakeholder meetings, analytics, plan development, as well as creating and revising documentation, and making recommendations to management. We'll need you to be highly motivated, able to work on your own, experience-focused, adapt well to frequent change, and have excellent time and task management skills in a fast-paced corporate environment.

What will you do:

Manage a regional portfolio focusing on space management and occupancy planning

Collaborate with other team members to gain business intelligence on company priorities

Input site information into the global occupancy planning program

Measure, monitor, and report cost savings and other value-added contributions

Provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, cost savings, and asset utilization

Attend customer meetings to collect requirements, present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and leadership

Use creative and analytical thinking to aggregate data from multiple sources and generate solutions for occupancy problems, providing analysis for customer decision making

Analyze space requirement requests and provide conceptual space plans and recommendations to real estate teams and stakeholders

Create block or stack plans, charters, and generate program test fits in accordance to established parameters

Develop site occupancy plans for supply and demand: analyze forecasted headcount and seat supply projections, supporting graphs, stacking plans, move scenarios, challenges, and pros vs. cons for each recommendation

Be responsible for periodic Workplace Observation Study implementation and management  

Partner with site workplace managers on alternative workplace strategies to accommodate growth and the changing workplace dynamics. 

Engage with stakeholders and external vendors regarding specialty space requests and find creative ways to meet the team needs while maintaining focus on the overall site plan

What will you bring:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

5+ years of planning or space management experience in a corporate office setting

Proficient in a variety of computer applications like Google Suite, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Archibus

Basic Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) or Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) principle understanding

Solid troubleshooting mindset, creative problem-solver, able to make connections across complex ideas, and capable of effective time management

Passionate and committed to providing the best experience possible for Red Hat associates

Highly motivated learner and team player with a positive attitude to challenges, constantly improving and adapting on the fly, and contributing to the team

Great communication and listening skills with solid experience in presenting across all levels of an organization

Self-motivated with the ability to work with little direct supervision in a fast-paced corporate environment while effectively managing time and tasks
