Job Description
We are seeking a Program Manager with expertise in the Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR) or EVM processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting on complex defense and aerospace programs, ensuring compliance with CSDR guidelines and requirements. This role will involve working closely with other program managers, finance teams, engineering leadership, and government stakeholders to support accurate program cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting.
ResponsibilitiesManage financial planning, analysis, and reporting on defense and aerospace programs.Ensure compliance with CSDR guidelines and requirements.Collaborate with program managers, finance teams, engineering leadership, and government stakeholders.Support accurate program cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting.Lead technical efforts across various contract types including CPFF, FFP, and T&M.Present program information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Identify, select, direct, and manage subcontractors and supply chain elements in alignment with program goals and company strategy.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree and 5+ years of CSDR or EVM experience.Experience in program management or program financial analysis in the defense, aerospace, or government contracting industry.Experience with financial management systems, cost reporting tools, and ERP systems (e.g., JAMIS, DELTEK).Experience presenting program information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in Software Development, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), DevSecOps, or Systems Engineering.CPA, CDFM (Certified Defense Financial Manager), or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.Work Environment
This role is a hybrid role with 2 days a week being onsite in Warrenton, VA. The company has two different offices in the Vint Hill technology park, which features amenities such as a brewery, winery, and CrossFit. The total team consists of 70 people, including a subcontracts team of 12 engineers. The Program Manager will work closely with Program Leadership. The work environment offers a fun culture and a hybrid model, with projects that feel like commercial projects, working with laptops, open office space, and the ability to have cell phones.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $75.00/hr.
