We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S. ASTRION has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager in support of the ARMY Division. JOB DETAILS LOCATION: Dugway Proving Ground, UT JOB STATUS: Full-time TRAVEL: Estimated at 10% REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret EDUCATION: Master’s degree, MBA, or MS in science/engineering from an accredited university EXPERIENCE LEVEL: At least 10 years of management experience, including 5 years of direct DoD contract program management experience in chemical/biological defense programs or equivalent. Experience in marketing, identifying customer requirements, and developing cost-effective solutions. Proven expertise in leading proposal efforts and preparing cost estimates. Ability to plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in developing and managing work breakdown structures (WBS) and earned value management (EVM) measurements. Demonstrated ability to monitor, report, and present overall project cost, schedule, and performance to the customer. Proficiency in Microsoft (MS®) Project or similar project management software. ADDITIONAL: Must be proficient in using MS® Project or similar project management software. Must be competent in basic computer software (MS® Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the overall responsible party for the performance of the work. Be available during normal duty hours/duty days, except for federal holidays or when the government facility is closed as per installation commander. Designate an alternate Program Manager (PM) in writing to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) when absent, with the alternate having full authority to act on all contract matters related to daily operations. Monitor, report, and present project cost, schedule, and performance to the customer. Ensure project execution aligns with customer requirements and contract specifications.
