Program Manager
Amentum is seeking a Program Manager to join our team. + Typical work schedule is 40 hours, 7 A.M. – 4 PM.; hours may vary based on business demand. + Weekend hours may be scheduled to support our 24/7 operation. The Program Manager reports to the Amentum Director of Operations Support Services and works to develop and maintain close working relationships with business leaders/stakeholders throughout the organization. The Program Manager plans, directs, controls and monitors the AR Realwear/Jojutech technical and support program to ensure satisfactory completion of the program objectives. Oversee programs providing multi-disciplinary engineering analysis and support in the design, development, implementation, operation and maintenance of diverse systems. Assist in the planning, control and direction of staff and customs support personnel for one or more contracts. Directly support the maintenance of the current base and develop and implement new business strategies. Responsibilities Provide administrative and technical leadership in the completion of multiple contracts, including responsibility for cost, schedule and overall performance. Plan and procure necessary staffing to achieve work completion milestones and deliverables. Monitor fulfillment of contract requirements to ensure quality and timeliness of services/deliverables to various customers. Supervise, coordinate, provide leadership to and review the work of assigned staff and/or contracts. Interface with customers on a regular basis for support of engineering and program management activities. Monitor customer feedback and advise on a broad range of issues related to products/services being delivered. Participate in business development including identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies and managing proposal development. Perform multi-disciplinary analysis of system designs to determine compliance with specifications and standards. Direct the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel. Minimum Knowledge + Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related field and 10 years of job-related experience or equivalent. + Two (2) years of experience in business or related field may be substituted for each of the four (4) years of college. + Master’s degree or coursework in specialized management preferred. + Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required. + Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications are required. + Extensive travel may be required. + Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance and a valid driver's license. + • Knowledge of various computer skills desirable (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) + • Additional knowledge/skills/requirements may be required by contract or assignment Work Environment Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
