Program Manager
Serves as Five Rivers Analytics front line manager responsible for providing contractor supervision and interfacing with FAA managers and contracting representatives. **Responsibilities** + Work includes routine project/program tasks based on established policies, procedures, and guidelines. + Responsibilities include but are not limited to. + Setting priorities; assigning tasks/projects; providing technical assistance to subordinate employees; monitoring and evaluating performance of subordinate contract employees. + Reviewing and providing acceptance of deliverables prior to submission to the FAA. + Providing management of contractor performance in terms of quality, quantity, and timeliness. + Coordinating and developing program, administrative and technical talent through on-the-job and formal training. + Working and communicating with FAA managers on programmatic issues. + Ensuring FAA approval is obtained for contractor travel, overtime, and purchases, reviewing travel vouchers to ensure accuracy before submission to the FAA + Coaching and developing contract employee capabilities; approving contractor leave; writing appraisals for contract employees under their supervision. + Submitting reports and other information requested by the FAA. + Working with FRA and the FAA manager to ensure contract employees are on-boarded and off-boarded successfully. + Ensuring training forms (both the Support Contractor Authorization – FAA Sponsored Training Form and the Second Level Engineering (SLE) electronic training request) have been submitted to the training team and approved by the FAA prior to allowing attendance in training courses; ensuring accurate submittals of training cost estimates before submission to the training team; ensuring project expenses are tracked. + Taking or recommending corrective/disciplinary action for contractor employees, as appropriate. + preparing Task Order (TO) kick-off meeting reports and minutes. + Preparing detailed project management plans. + Participating in NAS Status Review Meetings and Program Management Reviews and produce minutes. + Preparing monthly status and financial reports for presentation and submission. **Qualifications** + Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance for consideration + Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline with experience in providing hardware and software support of electronic systems. A degree in engineering technology or in an appropriate professional field such as physics, chemistry, computer science, or mathematics may be substituted in lieu of the engineering degree. + 10+ years’ experience executing the Engineering Design Process to include defining problems, conducting background research, specifying requirements, brainstorming solutions, choosing best solutions, developing chosen solution, building prototypes, testing and redesign, communicating results, and training on new products. + 8+ years’ experience executing the Project Management Process to include initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing a project. + 8+ years’ experience in managing engineering groups or teams. + 5+ years’ experience with National Airspace System (NAS) facilities, systems, and equipment highly desired. **Job ID** 2025-15962 **Work Type** On-Site **Company Description** **Work Where it Matters** Five Rivers Analytics (FRA), an Akima company, is not just another federal IT contractor.
