Program Manager

We are looking for a Program Manager to join our Shelby team!

As our Program Manager you will act as the General Manager for the assigned program(s) with an emphasis on New Product Introduction (NPI) for Electro-Mechanical Systems.  As part of NPI structured implementation, you, in conjunction with the Project Engineer, will lead the program through all phases of development of the new product (TIM’s, PDR’s, CDR’s, Qualification, and Transition to Production). You will be the main point of contact for the customer and is directly responsible for Schedule, Cost, and Performance of assigned programs.  Additionally, you will be required to coordinate with multiple departments and facilities across various geographic locations to assure alignment of customer requirements.

Your Challenge

Performs Program Management duties per structured New Product Introduction procedureSingle point of contact for customer to address all program needsManage scope creep of new development programsCoordinate with various departments and\or facilities to implement customer initiatives or prepare for customer reviewsUnderstand and communicate to all stakeholders the key business contractual items that impact program profitabilityMonitor financial health of program and coordinate action plans with other departments and facilities to execute strategies to achieve profitability targetsDevelopment and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (both external and internal)Maintain delivery schedules and forecasts for programResponsible for Accounts Receivable performance of customerEnsures acceptable turn time on customer returnsCoordinate and support, as required, proposal efforts, contract negotiations, budget inputs, and management reporting requests

What You Bring

Five (5) to seven (7) years experience in a Program Management or Project Engineering. Previous experience in leading NPI programs with motorized mechanical actuators and associated electronic controller for aerospace applications per RTCA DO-178 and DO-254 specifications.Four (4) year degree BA/BS/ME or job related experience.Must be a US Citizen.Clear communication and strong leadership capabilities to guide groups and individuals toward common project objectives.
