Job Description
As a Program Manager, you will create and implement project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for small to medium-sized projects. You will prepare detailed statements of work, gain concurrence and approval from stakeholders, and adjust project aspects as necessary. Additionally, you will participate in delivery assurance reviews to ensure adherence to project management policies and procedures. You will assist in staffing projects, organize project team members, and manage costs, schedules, and quality by overseeing project deliverables. You will perform ongoing reviews of project status, identify potential risks, and recommend and implement risk mitigation solutions. You will interface with team members and stakeholders to manage changes to the project and oversee assigned personnel, providing direction and addressing performance issues.
ResponsibilitiesCreate and implement project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for small to medium-sized projects.Prepare detailed statements of work and gain concurrence and approval from stakeholders.Participate in delivery assurance reviews to ensure adherence to project management policies and procedures.Assist in staffing projects and organize project team members to ensure communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments, and objectives.Manage costs, schedules, and quality by overseeing project deliverables.Perform ongoing reviews of project status and identify potential project risks.Recommend and implement risk mitigation solutions as approved and appropriate.Interface with team members and stakeholders to manage changes to the project, including changes to technical requirements, business requirements, and schedule.Manage client, company, and project team expectations for agreed-upon project performance by obtaining, providing, and monitoring project metrics.Oversee assigned personnel for projects, assigning work and providing direction regarding timeliness and completion of project objectives.Address performance issues within prescribed guidelines and provide performance input upon project completion.Essential Skills15+ years of Federal Program Management experience for multiple million-dollar programs.PMI, PMP, or Scrum Master certification.3+ years managing deployment and training tasks.Minimum of 2 years of Consular Affairs experience.Active Secret clearance.Additional Skills & QualificationsDoD Secret Security Clearance.PMP Certification.Experience managing project performance in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines.Ability to direct and supervise all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities.Experience managing projects through the design, implementation, and testing phases in accordance with project objectives.Proficiency in using program management tools to manage project work plans, issues, risks, and dependencies.Capability to produce status reports, conduct status meetings, and facilitate issue resolution and risk management sessions.Ability to work collaboratively with key business owners and users.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $170000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
