**What You’ll Do**
As a Program Manager, you’ll oversee and streamline the Estimating and Procurement Process for Cotton Logistics. This role is integral to ensuring our projects run efficiently and meet budgetary and timeline expectations. This person will serve as a "quarterback," coordinating between various teams and stakeholders to facilitate smooth, effective operations.
Here’s a snapshot of your responsibilities:
+ **Program Oversight:** Lead and manage the end-to-end estimating and procurement process for multiple projects, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with overall business objectives.
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Act as the central point of contact between internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication, data exchange, and problem-solving.
+ **Process Improvement:** Evaluate and implement process improvements to streamline estimating and procurement workflows. Identify bottlenecks, risks, and inefficiencies, proposing solutions to optimize operations.
+ **Budget & Timeline Management:** Work closely with sales, estimators, project coordinators project managers and finance teams to establish accurate project estimates and secure necessary procurement. Ensure that timelines and budgets are adhered to and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
+ **Vendor Coordination:** Facilitate vendor selection and procurement activities, including RFP creation, contract negotiations, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
+ **Documentation & Reporting** : Maintain detailed records of estimates, procurement contracts, and communications, ensuring proper documentation is available for audits, compliance, and future reference.
+ **Risk Management** : Identify potential risks related to estimating and procurement, proactively addressing issues that could impact project timelines, costs, or quality.
+ **Team Leadership:** Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
**What You Bring to the Table**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in project management, estimating, procurement, or supply chain operations
+ Proven ability to manage complex processes and work cross-functionally with diverse teams.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead through influence.
+ Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to identify risks and drive resolution in a timely manner.
+ Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
+ PMP certification (or similar) is a plus.
+ Strong knowledge of procurement and estimating tools, methodologies, and best practices.
