Job Description Summary

We are seeking a Nashville based Program Manager to join our Program Management team within the Client Group.

Team/Group Description

The Client Infrastructure PMO team works closely with AB's Client Group which is composed of Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Product Development for the global Retail and Institutional business units. PMO partners with the Client Group and Technology teams to deliver strategic technology initiatives including custom web, data, and business intelligence solutions.

Role Description

In this role, the Program Manager will manage a team of Business Analysts to deliver critical, client facing, enterprise software development projects. S(he) will be responsible for hiring top talent and keeping the organization highly engaged and motivated, delivering exceptional results.  S(he) will lead efforts to improve our processes, making our teams highly productive and champion the adoption of agile and iterative development practices.

Applications and business or enterprise functions the role supports

This role will support our data initiatives across the retail and institutional channels, giving a greater accuracy and abilities for the advisors and associates to drive investment.

Oversight of projects within the programs and reviewing resource planning for their programOwning the strategic roadmapCoordinating the planning of the team deliveries across quarters and communicating that to various teams and stakeholdersAlignment with Product Owners to outline dependencies and risks for project workIdentify cross program dependencies or opportunities to refine and determine valueContinued education for business analysts within their orgSpanning tactical and strategic outputsTechnical partnership with development managers1

Job Qualifications

Qualifications, Experience, Education

Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or related field. Masters level preferred10+ years at a leadership level in business analysis and/or project management.  Knowledge in asset management, business intelligence, or digital preferredExperience in working in a data driven environment is preferred, focusing on shared data components across multiple business unitsSuperior project management and analysis skills, experience working in an agile environmentDemonstrated leadership in managing people, setting strategy and executionExcellent communication skills, including strong verbal/written/presentation skillsProven ability to work across departments, influence others at senior levels and build strong relationshipsClient focused with strong sense of ownership and accountabilityExperience with JIRA, Microsoft Office
