THE WORK
We are seeking a Project Manager to support the C2BMC program, an IDIQ-structured effort responsible for the design, development, deployment, integration, testing, operations, and sustainment of a software-based Command and Control (C2) and Battle Management system. This system provides U.S. commanders around the world with essential situational awareness and serves as the integrating element central to MDA’s missile defense missions.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading project management activities across multiple task orders, ensuring successful execution within cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
Coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive mission success and operational efficiency.
Supporting software development, integration, and sustainment efforts to enhance system performance.
Providing strategic oversight and risk management to optimize program execution.
Engaging with MDA stakeholders and fostering strong customer relationships.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience in program management, overseeing cost, schedule, and technical baselines for complex defense programs.
Proven leadership in Agile methodologies, including Iteration Planning and Execution.
Experience leading Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and Design Reviews with both internal and external leadership.
Knowledge of risk and opportunity management principles, with a track record of successful mitigation strategies.
Experience managing engineering change proposals, drafting work statements, and leading contract negotiations.
Familiarity with government audits (e.g., DCMA, ISO, Financial Audits).
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program managers, functional managers, and technical leads.
Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Missile Defense Agency
• Experience with large multi-year Spiral Development and Sustainment Contracts
• Experience with Agile Dev Ops and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
• Experience with Large Software Development Programs (>$200M)
• Experienced program manager
• Strong leadership skills
• P/L skills and business acumen to include a strong understanding of EVM.
• Experience managing program schedules and business rhythms

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
