Program Manager AI Engineering Hub, Developer Marketing
Are you a dynamic program manager who thrives on building lasting relationships with technical communities? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an energetic and driven program manager to lead the AI Engineering Hub, a new AI-centric community hub in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This role will sit within our AWS Developer Relations organization. Our goal is to win the hearts and minds of developers around the world by meeting them where they are and providing the right technical education, tools, and resources to enable their success.

As the Program Manager for the AI Engineering Hub, you will perform event management operations and programming for this new AI Community Hub in downtown San Francisco, which will become the center of the Bay Area AI tech scene. You will manage the Hub space, handling event logistics, scheduling, vendor management, and facility oversight. Working together with the Community Manager and Developer Advocates, you will help curate and execute a robust calendar of community-led and AWS-led events, workshops, and activations aligned with AWS AI/ML solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally with AWS teams like Startups, Developer Relations, Marketing, and Partners to align on programming, promotions, and community engagement strategies.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities
Create project work-back plans to ensure on-time event execution
Develop communication plans for internal stakeholders
In partnership with the Community Manager, develop and implement a localized marketing and promotions plan to drive awareness and attendance for Hub events
Manage event budgets, contract staffing resources, and track key metrics and KPIs
Identify opportunities to repurpose and reuse content assets, such as sessions, demos, and marketing materials, across Hub locations
Foster relationships with local community leaders, influencers, media, and industry partners to amplify the Hub's reach
Oversee post-event customer journeys, including follow-up content, Slack communities, and networking opportunities
Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., facilities, IT, security) to ensure seamless event operations
Develop and maintain event planning processes and documentation
Analyze event data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize future events
