OVERVIEW:

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the broad execution of Dick’s Sporting Goods construction platform. Reporting to the Vice President of Construction and working closely with the Directors of Construction and project managers, this role will be responsible for the tracking and reporting of the overall construction initiatives across all Dick’s banners including House of Sport, 50k and Golf Galaxy. Manage special project initiatives in a cross functional setting representing the Construction team along with other leaders of Store Planning, Visual Design, Strategy, Operations, Procurement, Loss Prevention and Real Estate.

Responsible for all reporting and dashboard maintenance for all construction initiatives to track project metrics including schedule, construction progress, risk assessment, forecasting; Collaborate with and influence department peers and cross functional partners for conflict resolution, and alignment on strategy.

Manage a team of 3 or 4 employees responsible for construction documentation and financial management including Contracts, Invoices, Change Orders across all banners.

Manage the ongoing application and maintenance of Construction Software Platform Procore, engage with other cross functional partners to implement new technologies to aid in the development and performance of the department. Own the performance of the platform to not only meet the needs of the Construction team but other cross functional partners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Engineering; Business, Management

5-7 years experience in Construction, Program Management, Project Management

Ability to manage cross-company initiatives with multiple, senior stakeholders

Organization & time management skills resulting in consistently meeting deadlines

Sustainability management & program implementation in a large corporate environment

Ability to work with and build relationships with all levels of business from entry level teammates to senior leadership

Sound knowledge of organizational communications process and practices

Experience in managing work planning and project management platforms and building dashboards.

Experience in construction based software platforms Procore, Primavera

Understands and uses technology strategically

Work independently and with little supervision

Decision-making, business acumen and maturity is required
