We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Energy Efficiency, Management, and Construction Management Manager to join our team. Are you passionate about driving energy efficiency, sustainability, and construction excellence? At RHA, we’re expanding, and we're on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our LA Audits Program and other initiatives. Must live in California to be considered.
What You'll Do:
+ Lead and Manage Teams: Lead the LA Audits Team, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives.
+ Program Oversight: Oversee the execution of energy efficiency surveys for commercial and residential properties, driving participation in utility-sponsored programs like SoCalGas initiatives.
+ Technical Expertise: Provide advanced technical guidance on energy-efficient technologies, including HVAC systems, lighting controls, and Title 24 compliance.
+ Energy Calculations: Perform or oversee energy efficiency calculations for commercial and residential properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
+ Construction Management: Manage aspects of construction projects, particularly in the public sector (e.g., schools), ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
+ Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with clients, utility representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and program alignment.
+ Plan Review: Review construction plans, blueprints, and ASHRAE audits to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements.
+ Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed on energy regulations, codes, and standards, ensuring program activities meet or exceed requirements.
+ Quality Assurance: Supervise quality control activities, including inspections, customer surveys, and technical validation.
+ Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on program performance, metrics, and recommendations for improvement.
+ Local Travel: Travel locally (up to 30%-50% of the time) to engage with customers, oversee project implementation, and conduct on-site evaluations (mileage reimbursement provided).
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
+ At least 3 years of experience in program management, energy efficiency calculations, energy management, or construction management
+ Knowledge of HVAC systems, lighting controls, Title 24, and ASHRAE energy audit processes.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints.
+ Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
+ Competence in data analytics and reporting tools.
+ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Certified Energy Manager (CEM), LEED AP, Commissioning and Retro-commissioning Certification, or similar certifications.
Pay Range: $70,000 to $80,000 annually DOE
