Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Manager - Enterprise Project Management Office.
In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for managing complex enterprise projects products and/or programs and ensure they are delivered on time, on budget and of quality. He/she is a seasoned professional providing advanced expertise in a complex professional discipline; mentors and/or manages less experienced staff with responsibility for their technical and project management development. He/she handles overall coordination status reporting risk identification mitigation and escalation through proper channels. The overall goal of the role is to manage longer term complex initiatives by working with a wide range of team members including senior leadership throughout the institution and serve as a representative of Medical Center IT MCIT.
Job Responsibilities:
With very limited work direction, functions independently and leads the overall management of a team and assigned projects including: coordination, communication, status reports, develop schedules and project scope and manage stakeholders financials risks and issues.Manage cross functional projects products or programs of high complexity that span across medical center missions and MCIT functional areas, identifying, understanding and tracking cross disciplinary interdependencies.Manage all aspects of multiple related projects or products to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectivesResponsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts daily, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews; and escalating functional quality and timeline issues appropriatelyManages hybrid methodology projects or products that use an agile approach as well as traditional milestones reporting to leadershipInterface with teams to ensure adherence to MCIT project management standards and processes including documentation, requirements, meeting minutes, decisions, risks, issues, action items.Develop senior management presentationsPrepare and lead leadership and/or portfolio meetingsContribute to EPMO process improvement initiativesUnderstand and adhere to the internal Contracts and Purchase order requisition process and lead the team through Request for Proposal activitiesMentor and/or manage assigned coordinators APMs and/or PMs
Minimum Qualifications:
· BA/BS degree in Information Systems Computer Science or related field preferred
· 7 years of progressive project management experience
· PMP Certifications
· Expert level understanding of SDLC
· Must possess extensive knowledge and proven track record in the use of project management methodologies and tools this should include knowledge and use of resource management practices and change management techniques
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work effectively with senior executives
· Able to deliver engaging well-organized presentations
· Ability to work effectively with ambiguity

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $117,107.95 - $165,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
