Program Manager - Healthcare Transformation Consortium (HTC) - Morristown NJ
Summary: The Program Manager Position will support the Healthcare Transformation Consortium (HTC). The HTC is a collaborative of leading, independent health systems based in New Jersey, and soon to be employers. Members of the consortium include Atlantic Health System, CentraState Healthcare System, Holy Name Medical Center, Hunterdon Healthcare, Saint Peter’s Healthcare System, RWJ/Barnabas Health and Valley Health System. Each member have self-funded employee health plans, that share their expertise to address issues many businesses now face: how to improve access to high-quality health care for covered employees and dependents while reducing costs. This Program Manager position is the product manager for the HTC and is responsible for operational management for the organization overseeing several working committees, budgets, project plans, communications, and other operational roles to help the company meet future growth goals. This position reports into the Vice President, Insurance Networks and Business Advisory Services. This high-visibility position will have exposure to C-suite executives from all member health systems and will interact with a broad array of employers as well as hospital system professionals, clinical-staff, brokers, partners, and vendors. Operational and Project Management: + Oversees the execution of day-to-day activities of the organization + Provide operational management for a startup organization overseeing several working committees, budgets, project plans, communications and other support to help company meet future growth goals + Monitor and supervise multiple projects to ensure smooth operations and optimal outcome + Manage the organization’s operational budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources + Manage strategic partnerships with members, potential members and vendors ensuring their compliance with the company’s needs and demands + Understand contractual obligations and history of client relationships + Work to build a culture of collaboration and accountability within the market among and between company associates, client associates, collaborating providers, and local health providers + Lead multiple small to medium sized projects independently + Create trusted relationships with clients at senior levels + Help to extend or expand existing work to sell the client on other Aon consulting services + Resolve client issues with timelines, quality or project team performance to the client's satisfaction + Lead and understand all project work; although, the primary responsibility will be to oversee all modeling work, the expectation is to understand (and occasionally create) all excel modeling and analysis and draft reports + Serve as a client advisor regarding employer-based health and wellness Member and vendor relationships: + Work closely and in tandem with the Corporate Health team at AHS to cross sell HTC and other products + Formulate strategic and operational objectives aligned with organizational goals + Develop a professional and personal relationship that engenders trust and respect client leadership + Promote positive patient/client experiences throughout the community and region + Builds, expands, and solidifies relationships with existing clients at executive levels within the company and leads appropriate resources to address the client's risk/capital management needs + Maintains effective and positive relationships with clients and serves independently in a client-facing capacity on matters of moderate importance and complexity + Handles client open items lists and responds to client ad-hoc requests + Assist in the creation of promotional materials and maintenance of HTC website + Cultivate new corporate client leads and prospects, ultimately culminating in a sale, with the use of cold calls, former-inactive, past prospect lists, and other outreach methods + Provides expertise, identifies client needs, customized approach and services of a portfolio of middle market client accounts (determined by volume/size of accounts and/or nature of business) + Supports sales efforts to grow HTC membership Education— Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing, public health, or related field.
