Program Manager II, User Experience, YouTube
Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 2 years of experience in program or project management. + Experience working with User Experience (UX) projects, and working with freelance artists or creative teams. Preferred qualifications: + 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. + Experience in an agency setting, including client or account management. + Demonstrated process improvement experience and accomplishments. Experience with influencing organizational change to implement a process. + Experience with creative teams, managing delivery schedules, and working with multidisciplinary teams to develop product features end to end. + Ability to establish trusted relationships and coordinate alignment across a diverse set of stakeholders. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. In this role, you will join a team of UX Program Managers passionate about user experience, focused on driving efficiency and effectiveness throughout the design and development process. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google (https://careers.google.com/benefits/) . + Identify team needs regarding process, tools, documentation, and asset management, driving required changes to make sure the UX team is enabled to create excellent user experiences, and make the most impact at scale. + Drive creative team operations including artist budgets, Yoodle team allocation, artist and vendor engagement, and production scheduling. + Partner with Marketing, Legal, Product Managers, and Nitrate counterparts. Deliver work across Engineering, PM, Marketing, and UX, connecting all groups and making sure interdependencies are understood and planned for. + Collaborate with team leadership to define team priorities including requirements gathering, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of teams and approval processes. + Identify issues, and create plans to sustainably resolve them. Perform strategic analyses that translate data into actionable insights, influence stakeholders, and develop execution plans.
