Program Manager II - Industrial Division

The Industrial Division is seeking candidates for a Program Manager II reporting to the Director of Industrial Supply Chain PMO. This position will join the newly created PMO team and work out of our plant in Chicago.

The objective of this role is to create, lead, partner and execute cross-functional and cross-plant projects to deliver savings, continuous improvement and value to the Industrial Network. These projects would include but not limited to network optimization, plant productivity, and direct & indirect procurement enablement. This role would also be instrumental with organizing and leading loss analysis program with the sites and ensuring a pipeline of initiatives.

Candidates should have a successful track record in project and program management and demonstrate creative problem solving, initiative, strong communication skills (written and oral) and cross-functional relationship building skills. Candidates should also have strong business-to-business process improvement experience, and the ability to understand, persuade, and lead people of diverse backgrounds and affiliations.

Key responsibilities

Lead projects and program portfolio across Industrial Supply Chain network to deliver savings, continuous improvement and value to the plants, divisions and customers. Projects would include but not limited to network optimization, plant productivity, and direct & indirect procurement enablement.Lead and execute data analysis, where applicable, to drive business results (i.e. utilize DIFOT, open order reports, financials, etc. to identify potential optimization opportunities)Lead strategy, engagement and execution for Industrial Supply Chain loss analysis program in partnership with plants, logistics, planning, procurement, finance, OBLs, etc.  Lead events to generate ideas, drive ideas to project to deliver and track savings in SmartSheet tool.Trains / mentors project team members in continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologiesNetworks with internal/external resources to bring best practices to the projects/organization

BASIC Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, Engineering degree preferred5-7+ years of professional experience or master’s degree with 3-5 years of experienceSupply Chain or Manufacturing experience preferred5+ years process improvement or related experience, including 3+ years cross-function, cross-business project leadershipImmigration sponsorship not available for this role
