The Strategic Sourcing team, a division of the Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) organization, plays a crucial role in ensuring access to a diverse range of products worldwide. They leverage supply chain systems and collaborative experiences with vendors to manage the sourcing and procurement of millions of items across hundreds of product lines globally. Within SCOT, the Inbound Infraction Management (IIM) program team focuses on vendor compliance and management, with the primary objective of enhancing efficiency and accuracy in the inbound process. They work to eliminate vendor-injected defects, streamline processes for vendors, and manage all inbound-related infractions and chargebacks applied to vendors for supply chain defects arising during the inbound process.

This role is responsible for leading and driving strategic initiatives to enhance Amazon's defect management processes and systems covering all labeling related defects. You will spearhead efforts to achieve substantial reductions in defect rates, ultimately delivering cost savings and an improved customer experience. Your primary focus will be on identifying and optimizing systems and workflow to accurately identify defects, implement effective behavioral change mechanisms for fault owners at scale, and drive the elimination of defects at the source. The successful candidate will formulate a long-term vision for defect management, proposing innovative ideas and processes to eliminate vendor defects, while collaborating with key stakeholders to build automated systems that address these pain points systematically. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, data analysis expertise, project management skills, and a deep motivation to continuously improve processes.
