Position Title: Program Manager IV
Location: 100% Remote
Anticipated Start Date: 01/05/2025

Expected Duration: 9- 12+ Months
Job Type: Contract (>%3D30 HRS WEEKLY)
Pay Range: $80 - $90
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Summary:
The supply chain project manager supports client's enterprise supply chain program managers by overseeing and executing complex projects aimed at optimizing client's IT supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution, by planning, managing budgets, coordinating cross-functional teams, and implementing improvements to streamline processes and reduce costs, ensuring timely delivery of goods while meeting quality standards and customer demands;
Job Responsibilities:
Manage full lifecycle of complex cross-functional projects with considerable impact across multiple organizations. The projects span across all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, forward logistics, distribution and reverse logistics.
Development of the overall project strategy, tactically driving teams to deliver
Define the project chapter, set objectives, analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics
Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions
Partner with teams across the business you support and beyond to source, allocate, and coordinate resources
Partner with users, internal/external teams, and supply chain teams to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order
Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.g., requirements not sufficiently understood or documented, ineffective cross-team collaboration, long-term impact(s) from third-party solutions, security not considered, insufficient stakeholder review, etc.)
Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks)
Work with program managers, business leaders and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing
visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects
Skills:
Strong project management skills,Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, quality control, costs and other
techniques for maximizing the effective procurement and distribution of goods and supply chain services
Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MSProject, Visio etc.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
PMI or PMP certification preferred.
Minimum Years of Experience: 8 to 10 years
Must-Have Skills:
Supply chain background, with a focus on new hire equipment supply chain
(high priority)
Program management expertise
Logistics and procurement experience
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Effective time management
Ability to deliver high-impact projects that drive business results
Self-sufficiency and independence in managing projects and tasks
Strong strategic planning and organizational skills, with a focus on creating
structured plans and processes
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Strong data analytics skills
Financial background and understanding
Ability to create compelling presentations and effectively use various tools
Experience with creating slide decks and presenting data insights
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of prioritization and ability to lead without micromanaging
