We're seeking a Program Manager (Registered Nurse / RN). responsible for providing clinical resources in a variety of patient care departments throughout an EHC operating unit/facility. This individual is responsible for:
Manages Accreditation criteria to ensure facility meets expectations set forth by governing agencies.Maintains and ensures compliance of all policies and procedures that guide and support the assigned services.These include, but are not limited to Joint Commission requirements, federal and state regulations, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) standards, etc. Serves as the liaison between the assigned facility and MBSAQIP.Facilitates, develops, and maintains system-wide MBS policies, protocols, and standard workflows in policy manager. Participate in onboarding, orientation, and training of all new MBS coordinators in the EHC system or business agreement entities.Collaborates on an ongoing basis with MBS Director (s) or surgeon leads, clinical staff and physicians, and external sites promoting positive communication techniques and the ability to problem solve at every level.Works with MBS Director, Obesity Medicine Director, Director of Quality and Patient Safety and Hospital Administration to anticipate and identify the needs of the center(s) and creatively implements solutions to problems.Integrates Evidence Based Practice into program improvements. Completes routine programmatic rounding to bariatric and weight management programs within the healthcare system.Collaborates and engages in system-level MBS program quality improvement, meetings, and accreditation support. Position may include coordination of multiple hospital sites, EHC system coordination, or comprehensive center responsibility.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor degree in health related field required, or actively in pursuit degree to be obtained within 18 months of hire.Possession of a current license as a registered nurse, registered dietitian or other licensed healthcare provider i issued by the State of Georgia; Minimum of five years of experience as a healthcare provider (registered nurse. dietician, advanced practice provider, etc.) with three year's current experience in the area of bariatrics preferred; Master's degree in health related field preferred.Bariatric specific credentialing preferred. High level of interpersonal/communication skills to promote team approach; Excellent written and verbal skills required.If RN, must have a valid, active license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
