The Program Manager is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks within the assigned program area including technical work, staff supervision, financial activities and operational efficiencies. This individual is typically responsible for managing support personnel while overseeing multiple projects and tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supports the Senior Program Manager with the development and implementation of program management tools, systems, and practices within the assigned program area Executes program activities to meet client and organization work objectives Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders on program best practices, promoting harmonious interpersonal relationships Supervises program/contract personnel as well as other program/project team members Oversees personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluations Responsible for profitability and financial growth of assigned program area Ensures quality of service deliverables Ensures compliance with contract requirements and governing policies, as applicable Develops various program status reports and presents to senior management Performs other duties as assigned/necessary Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience Minimum 2 years of related experience, preferably including supervisory experience Experience in program/project implementation and management preferred Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required Computer proficiency required Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
