Program & Project Management applies general business knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process. This job family organizes project teams, establishes project schedules and individual responsibilities, and determines resource requirements. Program & Project Management manages project budgets and reports on the status of project cost, timing and staffing. This job family also ensures adherence to internal external quality standards and integrates vendor tasks and deliverables into project plans.
Job Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for managing the execution of projects consisting of single or multiple initiatives. They work within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.
Responsibilities.
Leverage cross functional team to build and maintain multi-generational Project Plans that support a complex program, support stakeholder management, and provide appropriate escalations to drive timely and successful executionEffectively document and execute on project plans for individual projectsProactively identify issues and risks, support issue resolution, and develop risk mitigation plans in close partnership with project teams and relevant business partnersResponsible for creating and delivering project status to executive leadership team; ability to candidly request supportQuickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teamsConfidently facilitates decision making and removes barriers to progressEnsure effective, nimble controls are in place and manage risks, issues, changes, decisions, cost, resources, and schedule; connect short-term demands to long-term implications, in alignment with the supporting business caseEffectively manage multiple projects, prioritizing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines; communicate project status (health, forecast, issues, risks, etc.) to leadership and stakeholders in an open and honest fashionQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred8+ years of experience, preferredPreferred Certifications: PMPPrior experience leading large scale, cross functional projects with multiple workstreamsDeep understanding of Supply Chain managementStrong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial and strategic impactAbility to influence without authority and excellent communication skills; ability to tailor communication with all levels of the organization, including executive leadershipComfortable navigating through ambiguity; challenging others to think differently and holding others, at all levels, accountable to delivering on commitmentsStrong communication skills to navigate efficiently and effectively in a matrix organizationComfort with conflict and strong conflict resolution skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationshipsStrong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, organizational, and financial acumenAbility to travel 15%What is expected of you and others at this level

Anticipated salary range: $103,500 - $147,900
