Kforce's large east bay San Ramon, CA client is a looking for a Program Manager/VMO/Procurement Sourcing. This person will be reporting into the Office of the CIO to lead and manage the Contract Governance and Deal Evaluation/CIO executive briefing of contract transactions. Summary: This role is a VMO/Procurement/Contract Governance and Deal Evaluation/CIO Briefing role. This is a hybrid role going onsite in Oakland/San Ramon a few days a week. They will be evaluating the deal and summarizing it for the leaders and cross-referencing all elements of the contracts, analyzing and making sure governance stakeholder sign off. Duties/Day to Day Overview: * A key expectation is you must be proficient in identifying, assessing, and executing opportunities to improve cost, quality, partner performance, speed to market and establishing strong measure and metrics * Document your findings, recommendations, and deal summary for executives * Capture decisions and action items via meeting minutes and follow up on timely completion of those action items * This specialist will help manage a technology intake process and triage and analyze IT technology procurement requests and offer informed recommendations * Develop and enhance governance frameworks while optimizing structure and requirements for IT technology procurement requests * Act as a liaison by working closely with all parties including IT, architecture, security, etc. to help ensure compliance with business practices * Develop upstream strategies and approaches necessary to aid technology rationalization/ optimization of the IT technology portfolio * Identify potential risks in proposed IT contract's structure and propose mitigation strategies * Monitor IT portfolio budgets, ensuring cost control and alignment with financial planning * Stay updated on industry best practices, legal trends, and technology developments related to IT contracts
