Program Marketing Lead - Alternative Delivery/ Program Management/ Construction Field Services

The Resources Business Group (RBG) is seeking a dynamic Program Marketing Lead to drive marketing efforts within the Alternative Delivery (AD), Program Management (PgM) and Construction Field Services (CFS) programs. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in leading strategic marketing initiatives to support our growth across the Industrial, Power, Waste and Resources Federal market sectors. Collaborating with the alternative delivery directors, program management director and market sector directors, you will develop targeted marketing strategies and materials, showcasing our achievements and capabilities with impactful content. You will also lead the development of initiatives that drive market expansion and thought leadership.

HDR views AD (working for/alongside a construction contractor), PgM (working as an integrated team with the owner’s senior leadership team in the planning and execution of interrelated projects) and CFS (working on behalf of the owner’s construction management team) as services that offer far-reaching value to our clients. These services vary from traditional design services in that they require a broader understanding of our client’s needs, issues and goals throughout the capital asset lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities

Brand Management

Partner with RBG leadership to lead the planning, development and maintenance of marketing materials to bolster our services and market expansion throughout the capital asset lifecycle.Collaborate with RBG communications and market sector leadership to develop, align and implement branding and marketing campaigns, both internal and external. This may include support and development of social media, websites, industry award nominations, advertising and email announcements.Marketing MaterialsGlobal Marketing Materials – Identify and lead program specific materials. Act as the project manager of the overall process, working closely with communications and graphics for development and implementation. Responsible for overall currency of content and disseminating availability of information within our respective programs.Regional Marketing Materials – As strategic programs are identified by region or client, work with local leadership to initiate development of marketing materials. Development will be driven by the local marketing coordinator with oversight by the Program Marketing Lead. Partner with market sector leadership and conference champions for conference budgeting and planning.

Strategic Initiatives

Work collaboratively with RBG market sector leadership to identify, prioritize, and successfully position for AD, PgM, and CFS opportunities across the Industrial, Power, Waste and Resources Federal market sectors.Serve as the project manager for all AD, PgM and CFS marketing initiatives to establish timelines, credibility, responsibilities, completion and follow up.Cultivate and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across various practices and geographies to leverage opportunities for emerging market and client needs. Assist with special regional assignments, including coordinating strategic and tactical plans to enhance market/client share.Market Awareness/Trends – Research related to specific market sectors, market trends, clients, acquisitions, competitors, geographic region, etc. as needed to support the overall program.

Program Infrastructure

In coordination with RBG leadership, monitor, manage and drive development of booking information, active pursuits, and our opportunity pipeline.Serve as a liaison in managing and coordinating the market sector annual planning process. Support shall include attending planning meetings to discuss target clients for AD, PgM and CFS.Debriefs (from client) – Develop and execute a consistent process to collect debrief data from pursuit team. Analyze debrief data for trends, opportunities for improvement, etc. to better inform future strategies.Help organize, plan, and actively participate in regularly scheduled leadership meetings, including coordinating presentations and leading specific discussions.Manage AD, PgM and CFS marketing SharePoint site and content.

Pursuit Guidance Support

Mentor and coach marketing staff on program service offerings, differentiators, compelling/persuasive messaging, target clients and best practices. Partner with leadership to drive the HDR Go/No-Go and proposal review/approval process. This may include development of briefings for HDR’s Risk Committee and others.Work effectively and professionally on behalf of HDR with clients, including both owners and construction contractors.

General

Perform other duties as needed.Reports to Power Sector Alternative Delivery Director.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications-related field preferred.Minimum 8 years of experience in A/E/C industry.Must have proficiency in Adobe InDesign, MS Microsoft Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.Experience facilitating and leading discussions with senior leadership relative to marketing and client development planning activities.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines with diplomacy.Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

A minimum of 5 years relevant industry experienceDemonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight  Deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional services Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign Demonstrated experience in winning high-value contracts in the A/E/C industry Demonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staff

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Montana: $73,549 - $105,070; Colorado: $85,162 - $121,660; New York: $77,420 - $110,600; California: $85,162- $127,190; Washington: $89,033 - $127,190.
