Program Monitor
Responsible for the care and custody of clients (probationers, parolees, inmates) assigned to theCommunity Justice Support Center. Responsible for the security of probationers, parolees, inmates,and all individuals and personnel in the center at all times. Oversee participant schedules; andmonitor drug/alcohol sobriety through urinalysis testing and breathalyzer testing as deemednecessary. Direct liaison with Probation, Parole, Courts and other designated Public or PrivateAgencies; report updates of compliance/non-compliance of drug screens feedback of clientbehavior. Complete all necessary paperwork, reports and documentation. Actively participate inall scheduled security meetings and any other required meetings at the Center. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in criminal justice, law enforcement, corrections or related field is required.
Must have high degree of confidentiality foraccess to client records, and theability to communicate with others in a direct, clear, and professional manner. Must successfully pass background and physical/drug screenings to include the ability to lift or carry an inmate, client orfellow colleague in time of need or crisis. Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license. Mustbe flexible with shift hours, to include both day and afternoon/night shifts (see below):Hours will be Monday through Friday, weekends off. Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week. Benefitted state employee position. Hours on certain days will either be 7:00AM to 3:00PM or 11:30AM to 7:30PM, depending on testing schedule.Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement is highly preferred.
