Responsibilities:
Lead, collaborate and influence quality and performance for program deliverables, accountable for factory integration, program performance, and unique program requirements flow down.Coordinate with Operations to ensure work instructions are developed and executed to ensure process repeatabilityCoordination with procurement to ensure component lead times and deliveries schedules are sufficient to ensure uninterrupted production workflowsPrepare and present information for periodic management reviews, summarizing production status and articulating any production issues Coordinate and develop operations requirements for all gate reviews and execute proposed strategies to ensure effective implementation in future production.Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's of Science degree in a related field of studyTypically, 8+ years of progressive technical experienceKnowledge of engineering principles and practiceExperience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teamBasic understanding of requirements management, system design, integrationQualifications We Prefer:
Typically 2-4 years of relevant leadership and/or project management experienceExperience leading a multi-disciplinary design and development team and communicating with program management and customersFamiliarity with preparation and development of project estimates, technical proposals, and program cost and schedule managementPast history of leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of highly integrated trade studies and analysis of alternative Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions and test procedureDemonstrated experience including working in a manufacturing environment with complex systems integration within factories, multifaceted federal regulatory requirements, and/or military or defense manufacturing Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing from system integration through product delivery (DD250) Experience with manufacturing and production facility layout, design, and start upUnderstanding of lean manufacturing principles and applications to manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and management for production environments (materials and labor resources)Experience with continuous improvement tools and frameworks (Lean/Six Sigma)Demonstrated superior communications skills with the ability to explain complex technical material to company and customer leadershipEstimated Starting Salary Range: $143,487.14 - $197,294.82. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
