What does this role look like?



The Program Plans and Requirements (PP&R) team is primarily a group of Integrated Program Planners and Software Engineers tasked with a broad responsibility to ensure the United States and United Kingdom submarine fleets are supported by missile and reentry production. As a member of the PP&R Missile Team, you will be leading the way for establishing LE2 processing requirements and integrating long-range missile production plans and material requirements across FBM modernization programs.



In this role, you will be part of the PP&R team, with responsibilities including, but not limited to:



• Evaluating the US Strategic Programs Operational Schedule Estimate (SPOSE) and UK Joint Programme Requirement (JPR) documents to determine fleet requirements
• Coordinate with customers and stakeholders across the program to detail requirements, planning factors, groundrules, and program plans in order to develop a missile production program baseline
• Utilize custom software to generate production master schedules, directives, and contract requirements
• Support customer requests for detailed analyses, including What-Ifs, SWF Change Directives, and other informal requests
• Act as a change agent for Digital Transformation initiatives throughout the program


The position will require periodic travel.
Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Kings Bay, GA, and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with at least 3 years of professional experience, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Open Plan, or comparable scheduling tool
• Experience with Navy customers or DoD production programs
• You will need to be a US Citizen (no dual citizens), and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

No clearance is required to apply but an Interim clearance is needed prior to start.
Desired Skills:
To be effective, ideally, you should also have:

• Active Top Secret clearance
• Ability to concisely present and discuss complex problems with executives and customers
• Experience with data analytics and communication
• Relevant professional certification (Green Belt, PMP, CSM)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective internal relationships
• Experience providing direct program planning expertise across program components as required
• Experience with continuous improvement or digital transformation initiatives

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
