Tactical Space Systems Division (TSSD) is a strategic partner specializing in commercial and classified partnerships with the design, delivery, operation and sustainment of satellites and human spacecraft. We support science and space exploration through our various partnerships, including NASA’s Artemis program with the goal to return humans to the Moon in 2024 and the TESS (Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite) program that has discovered more than twenty confirmed plants. Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst 3 or 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Dulles, VA.
This role is contingent upon program award. Hire date is expected for January 2025.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Preparing, developing and coordinating the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives.Ensuring program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated.Implementing scheduling best practices as prescribed by industry to include, but not limited to: DCMA 14-point, IPMR DI-MGMT-81861, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA), Schedule Performance, Health Metrics and Analysis, Provides weekly and monthly status and reporting. Tracking plans and schedules.Creating, maintaining and validating Schedule data.Performing risk analysis and management.Identifying and resolving critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilizing Gantt, milestone charts, Earned Value Management (EVM) and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances.This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4 as outlined in the basic qualifications below and is contingent upon program award.
Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of stated experience in program/project planning and scheduling, logistics or supply chain - OR - a Master's degree with 3+ years of stated experience. An additional 4 years of stated experience accepted in lieu of a degree.Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of stated experience in program/project planning and scheduling, logistics or supply chain - OR - a Master's degree with 6+ years of stated experience. An additional 4 years of stated experience accepted in lieu of a degree.Additional Basic qualifications for both levels:
Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.Experience with scheduling software (i.e., MS Project 2016, Open Plan, PS3, Primavera P6, Milestone Professional, Deltek and SSI Tools).Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.Preferred Qualifications:

Salary Range: $97,500.00 - $146,300.00Salary Range 2: $120,900.00 - $181,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
