This position is responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of occupant, furniture, and equipment additions, changes, and moves to/from units, completing furniture bid packets, flooring verification packets, and entering orders into Asset Management software. They independently coordinate and manage small furniture projects including design, procurement, scheduling and installation oversight, monitor, record, and update space and building occupancy and usage data. They analyze data and coordinate with others on proposed future space use based on facilities inventory data, room usage, and organization space demands. They perform regular floor surveys and update facility inventory data for accurate recording and submission of space utilization data. They maintain department finish sample library, update and maintain the project status report and update project and work-order status in Asset Management software for Space Management projects. Proficient in Photoshop and AutoCAD. Works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences. The successful candidate must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in interior design and/or architecture with a minimum 2 years of experience in space planning and interior design practices.
