The Space and Intelligence (S&I) Division provides engineering services and analytic support to the Air Force, Space Force, Combatant Commands, the Intelligence Community, and NASA. Our work includes systems engineering and integration, test planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging, high priority National Defense needs, and assessing and developing cutting-edge computer-based solutions, advanced technologies and progressive capabilities to meet those needs.

 

The S&I Division comprises the Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), the Space Systems Group (SSG), and the Strategic Technology Analysis Group (STAG), which collectively provide outstanding support to help their customers achieve our nation’s most critical objectives and goals designed to protect the safety and livelihoods of all U.S. Citizens, military forces at home and abroad.

 

SPA has an immediate need for a number of highly qualified Mid-Level (Journeyman) Program/Project Managers and Program/Project Management SMEs to support our new U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDA&CP) and Battle Management Command, Control and Communications (BMC3) Support Services contract (Hemisphere) in multiple locations including the El Segundo, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, Albuquerque, NM, and Eglin AFB, FL areas.

 

Travel is not anticipated but would occur less than five percent of the time on an occasional and irregular basis and be limited to domestic locations only. 

Responsibilities

We are seeking multiple candidates to fill the following positions at the Mid-Level (Journeyman):

Intelligence Analysts located in the Eglin AFB, FL areaOperations Support/Data Managers located in the El Segundo, CA and Albuquerque, NM areasProgram Managers located in the El Segundo, CA and the Colorado Springs, CO areas

The Intelligence Analysts shall have:

Experience in space systems resiliency analysis, understanding of highly contested environments, and in contingency planning.Knowledge of current space threats.Relevant experience in the intelligence community.Experience working in space operations environments.Knowledge of joint domain targeting, planning, and C2 activities. Knowledge of space threats and experience in intelligence community.

The Operations Support/Data Managers shall have:

Knowledge in DoD and IC security processes and procedures.Experience in classified systems data handling and operational level support.Experience with senior level operations, coordination, and communications.Experience analyzing and evaluating current events and providing recommendations to the Unit leadership to help assure continuity of activities and processing of security requirements are effectively integrated through security architecture, design, development, and configuration.

The Program Managers shall have:

Experience performing acquisition management activities related to contracting, legal, policy, and regulatory development, review, and compliance in the government (military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit/non-profit government support/development Contractor arena.Experience on reporting program execution. Qualifications

Required:

U.S. CitizenActive TS/SCI clearance/access or TS/SCI EligibleEarned Bachelors degree in program/project-related discipline, e.g., Management, Systems Engineering, or Project ManagementAt least 10 years of relevant program/project management experience, at least 6 years of which must have been performed in the DoD acquisition and operational environment

Desired:

Specific direct experience performing program/project management tasks in the U.S. Air Force and/or the U.S. Space Force space system acquisition and operational environmentsSpecific direct knowledge and experience with program/project management-related activity associated with Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Space Situational Awareness (SSA), Space Control, satellite design, launch operations and space system operationsPMP certificationDomain expertise in MS Office Suite applications and CCaRSCurrent CI polygraph or willingness to take one

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  Pay Transparency Range: 140k - 210k
