Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Program/Project Manager in Earth City, Missouri. This position is with Talech, Inc., a U.S. Bank company.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Program/Project Manager will be responsible for supporting a Point of Sale (POS) product by ensuring consistent and compliant production releases. Managing information and processes via ServiceNow, JIRA, and Confluence that will be utilized by the Scrum Teams assigned to development of the POS product. Planning and scheduling software releases across the enterprise, and managing activities for building and maintaining software release process from beginning to end across multiple product portfolios. Maintaining quality of software preproduction and production environments through a managed rollout of new software versions within the managed infrastructure. Coordinating with large multi-disciplined teams such as Product, PMO leads, DevOps, Customer Success and other cross-functional teams to ensure execution of the software development life cycle to allow software/hardware releases, hotfixes and go-to-market launches. Managing software release scope through defined criteria and ensure creation of a communications plan, roles and responsibilities, and creation of back-out and quality plans to improve communication and transparency within each software release. Creating, maintaining, and overseeing utilization of policies and procedures for configuring and rolling out new software releases and associated technical and non-technical considerations. Ensuring software releases are traceable, secure, tested, and authorized, with acceptance and sign off from all impacted areas for each software release. Providing a single point of contact between Product, Engineering and Customer Success teams for release question. Organizing and leading software release readiness and post implementation reviews. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple openings.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, plus 5 years of experience as a Release Manager, or related.

Required Skills/Experience:           
Must possess 5 years of experience with: (a) managing the lifecycle of software delivery and Go To Market strategy/releases; (b) ensuring production environment quality through a managed rollout of new versions within the managed infrastructure; (c) conducting Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews; (d) creating and maintaining detailed feature, hotfix, and go to market release plans to meet strategic objectives and minimize/eliminate customer impact; (e) acting as a liaison between Product, Engineering and Customer Success teams for release question, organizing and leading release readiness and post implementation reviews; (f) utilizing ServiceNow to create reports/dashboards to publish ticket status; and (g) experience in each of the following skills: Agile Methodologies; Agile project management principles; JIRA and Confluence. Experience may be gained concurrently. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $117,000 - $144,400.
