Program Protection Specialist (Program Protection – Senior)

Clearance: Active TS/SCI

Location: Springfield, VA

Experience: At least 12 years of experience with 8 years of specialized experience

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Secure the Program of Record (PoR) environment that is developing, testing, deploying and sustaining algorithmic warfare initiatives and operations, and provide expert and innovative Counter Intelligence/Security services to a team focused on rapid fielding of R&D products and mission success.

In close coordination with the COR, create and sustain initiatives that support timelines and objectives, while maintaining compliance with applicable national security requirements.Demonstrate energy, experience, subject matter expertise, sound judgement, foresight and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational and communication skills, excellent research and data-gathering skills, interpretation/analysis of complex information skills.Support with developing, reviewing, coordinating and executing a wide range of AI/ML Program Security documentation to include, but not limited to: Security Classification Guides (SCGs), Information Sharing IAW the NDP, Public Affairs and Perception Management Plans, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Identify and protect Critical Program Information (CPI) developed by AI/ML, IAW DoD and IC policy, including the identification of CPI and development of countermeasures.In collaboration with NGA AI/ML leadership, implement Program Protection Planning, facilitate the comprehensive development and execution of a Program Protection Strategy, integrated with the desired protection success criteria, CI Support Plans, OPSEC plans, and other planning documents as needed.Communicate effectively across all DoD and IC elements, as well as with academic and industrial organizations.Identify and maintain relationships outside of the program that help in the development of AI/ML Program Protection objectives, including Commercial Vendor Outreach, Security and CI familiarization, and Intelligence and Security Community Coordination/De-confliction.Identify and mitigate threats to the supply chain IAW DoD and IC Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM policy) and developing Attack Surface Vulnerability Monitoring (AVSM) initiatives in coordination with the COR, including tailored security and threat products to identify risk in the supply chain and the promotion of corrective action.Support the development and maintain a comprehensive OPSEC program in collaboration with the customers security protocols and coordinated with the COR; reviewing organizational mission statements and associated publicly available technology program information for inconsistencies which may reveal sensitive information. Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

Required:

Minimum of 15 years of operational Program Protection/OPSEC/Intelligence Collection/Operations experience in a DoD or USIC capacity, with appropriate formal education, training and professional certifications.

 

Desired:

20 years of operational Program Protection/OPSEC/Intelligence Collection/Operations experience in a DoD or USIC capacity, with appropriate formal education, training and professional certifications.
