As the Program Risk Analyst you will be on a dynamic team, supporting the USS Constellation Guided Missile Frigate (FFG 62) Program. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our sailors at our Washington, D.C. location.

 

Serco supports the US Navy as a prime for their FFG 62 program office contract supporting the acquisition of USS Constellation Guided Missile Frigate. PMS 515 oversees the design, construction, and delivery of the Constellation Class Frigates.

 

In this role, you will:

 

Provide programmatic support developing and maintaining the Risk and Opportunity Registers for the Frigate program.Report on risk management issues to program manager and the deputy program manager for PMS 515 monthly.Work with PMS 515 Risk PAPM to establish and maintain Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) program IAW DoD guidelines to properly assess program vulnerabilities and opportunities to impact cost, schedule, and performance.Assist PAPMs and program staff in planning, identification, analysis, mitigation, and monitoring of risks and opportunities impacting the technical, programmatic, or business areas across each of their portfolios (Acquisition, Technical, Product Support, BFM, Production, Test, and Integration). Prepare addendums for RMP for each division.Work with the shipyards to manage their inputs to the Program Manager’s Overall Risk portfolios.Prepare and conduct Risk Management Boards for the program as well as working level reviews with each PAPM, PMR, and shipbuilder team.Create training for government POCs to help them with risk processes, how to enter in new risk, how to score a risk, and what to do as a risk owner for all areas. Conduct strategic planning to develop a Risk Program for all areas of PMS 515 that are not yet implemented.Develop a strong Acquisition, Technical, Product Support, BFM, Production, Test, and Integration Risk inputs that analyzes the technical, programmatic, and business risks against program goals to determine impacts to cost, schedule, and performance.Work with PAPMs to identify Opportunities to improve non-value areas to regain cost and schedule without sacrificing performance. Perform a variety of complicated tasks and other duties as assigned. Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you will have:

 

Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance.US CitizenshipA Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.A High School Diploma and 4 years of additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.5 years of experience (Experience in assessing risk and developing mitigation strategies is highly preferred)Ability to analyze various systems. Knowledge of Navy shipboard systems, and DoD acquisition programs, preferred.Ability to understand and succinctly summarize, communicate, and document technical issues. Ability to use a variety of software products (e.g., MS Office and MS Outlook).Ability to perform a wide range of executive, managerial, and programmatic support responsibilities, and duties.Knowledge and understanding of agency structure, organizations, programs, missions, and functions sufficient to provide support in the planning, development and coordination of the management and administrative activities of the office.Proficiency in preparing, selecting, organizing, and presenting information concisely. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to meet the needs of the Program OfficeAbility to facilitate and coordinate efforts with key government and non-government stakeholders. Ability to work with minimal supervision.Ability to work well within a time sensitive environment. Ability to travel at least 10% of the time.

Additional desired experience and skills:

 

A current or active DoD Secret clearanceRisk Management professional certification (CRMP or RMP)Experience working in DoD or DoN environments. SharePoint expertise.

In compliance with the District of Columbia’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $81,153.39 to $131,873.27; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
