We have an opportunity for a Program Specialist II to join us at Honeywell. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the technical aspects of project interfaces between various teams, departments, and external stakeholders for mega construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure a safe working environment on site for all employees, subcontractors, suppliers, Clients and visitors. Lead the achievement of company safety targets and zero tolerance of unsafe working practices and occurrencesAct as the primary point of contact for all technical interface matters related to BMS and light current systems, ensuring effective communication between internal teams and external partners.This role ensures seamless integration and communication across all technical functions, facilitating the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.Developing trust and managing the relationship with customers and ensuring a shared understanding of key issues between all parties is maintained, maintain customer relationships at the appropriate project management levelManage and coordinate technical interfaces across multiple disciplines and project phases, specifically focusing on BMS and light current systems.Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical requirements for BMS and light current systems.Monitor and track interface-related activities and issues, providing regular updates to project stakeholdersIdentify and mitigate risks related to technical interfaces of BMS and light current systems.Facilitate technical discussions, reviews, and approvals to resolve interface issues.Work closely with engineering teams to verify and validate technical interface designs and solutions for BMS and light current systems.Provide technical input on all VO’s and contractual claims ensuring that the construction-related substantiation in notifications and follow-up is clearly defined, accurate and demonstrable.Follow up and track all Retention and Defects Liability Period punch-lists/snags to ensure close out of work packages and release of retention monies.
You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 7-10 years total experience in project management, technical coordination and consraction MEP mega projectsPMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly recommended.Fluency in English is requiredWe Value
