PROGRAM SUPERVISOR

I. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor and oversight of both programs to ensure compliance with OMH regulations for safety and health (Part 594). Ensure accurate and timely completion of all written documentation (i.e.: monthly tracking forms, billing paperwork, weekly progress notes, contacts with children & families, referral sources, etc.). Participate in all outreach presentations & C-SPOA meetings in order to develop and maintain linkages between program, potential referral sources and/or collateral service providers. Participate in monthly incident review meetings, ensure prompt reporting of incidents/submission of associated documentation, and provide supervisory oversight, response and follow-up as required. To conduct bi-weekly supervision of clinical team staff On call availability 24/7, when assigned, to handle any emergencies and provide intervention, rapid assessment and evaluation as needed. To ensure clinical team’s knowledge of medications regime of each resident. To ensure clinical team maintain regular contact with the referral source and consistent contact with birth, adoptive or foster family as appropriate. Assist in the identification and encouragement of participation in appropriate recreational activities for the residents. Collaborate w/ referral source and all relevant parties to ensure and monitor continued participation in school placement, therapeutic and/or other support services during the child’s stay. Attend required in crisis intervention/trauma informed practices and other identified trainings Responsible for orientation of new staff and scheduling of assigned trainings To perform other duties as needed

II. QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s Degree in Social Work with a minimum of three years of experience working in the mental health, residential or other appropriate child welfare setting. Must have experience with seriously emotionally disturbed children. (LMSW or LCSW required; English/Bilingual preferred) Acceptable background clearance check through State Central Register, Justice Center and compliance with health regulations for physical examination and Mantoux testing; COVID vaccine
