Position Overview:
As a Program Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the daily operations of a dynamic and supportive environment. You'll lead a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), ensuring they're properly trained, scheduled, and equipped to provide exceptional care to individuals in accordance with OPWDD regulations. Your leadership will make a direct impact on the lives of participants, helping to create meaningful, community-focused experiences. You'll oversee staff development, manage schedules, and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants while maintaining a positive, respectful atmosphere. Work Location: Canandaigua, NYSchedule: Full-time - M-F 7:30am - 3:30pm with flexibility to meet program needs.

Responsibilities
+ Provides training to newly hired DSPs. Implements and follows the coaching plan ensuring staff receive the necessary and appropriate training to perform their job duties at assigned sites. Ensures new and current staff are registered to attend all agency-mandated and necessary training. Informs staff of training they are assigned to attend. Corrects and coaches staff as needed for the smooth and appropriate running of the site. Completes, with assistance from the Manager, core competency-based performance appraisals.
+ Ensures site schedule is staffed to meet the needs of individuals, including programming, medical appointments, and recreation outings while minimizing overtime. Ensures schedule meets all safeguard staffing minimums, and includes staff certified for the needs of each shift. Follows through on submitted benefit requests, fills open shifts with staff that are trained, and appropriate to work at the site, and follows agency policy and procedure for staffing patterns.
+ Ensures individual plans support community participation and contribution. Ensures that specific valued outcomes frequency for each individual is met. Is involved in regular and assigned QA checks. Informs staff of documentation to be completed and follows up to ensure its completion. Verifies signature sheet is accurate and up-to-date. Evaluates and review daily billing documentation.

Requirements
+ 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent amount of education/experience
+ Internal candidate requires 1-year of relevant experience
+ Valid NYS Driver's License
+ Must be able to provide coverage of shifts as the need arises.
+ Ability to work independently and motivate others.
+ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
+ Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
