This part-time position offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain professional experience in a dynamic, customer-focused environment, assisting with administrative tasks. **Responsibilities** **Minimum Qualifications** + Must be a current University of Utah student. High school diploma or equivalency required + Detail-oriented, efficient, self-reliant, team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment to provide direct support to a full-time staff member + Professional phone etiquette and written and verbal communication skills + Professional attire required + Able to lift, carry, and move 20 lbs. and stand for an extended period of time in preparation for MBA events **Responsibilities:** _Recruiting & Admissions Support:_ + Assist with outreach to prospective students to confirm event attendance. + Help maintain accurate records in Salesforce by logging interactions and updating student profiles. + Support the admissions team with data entry, document verification, and preparing application materials. + Basic research – Assist with compiling information on competing programs or student engagement trends as requested. _Event Assistance:_ + Prepare materials and assist with event setup. + Coordinate logistics such as venue reservations and catering. _Office & Administrative Support:_ + Perform general office duties such as front desk coverage, answering, screening, and transferring incoming phone calls. + Prepare mailings and packages for prospective students and new admits. + Communicate with prospective students over the phone, in person, and through email. + Other office duties as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications** **Preferences** + Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. + Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). + Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities. + Ability to work independently while also collaborating as part of a team. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new systems. + Experience in an office, customer service, or event support role is a plus but not required. **Special Instructions Summary** **Additional Information** The University is a participating employer with Utah Retirement Systems (“URS”).
