Program Support - SOX/SOC/CCAR

This position supports all compliance applications (Trintech, Bwise, and Wdesk) for the SOC, SOX and CCAR programs as well as supports the global account reconciliation process. This role will also support the Global Financial IT manager with Adhoc Technology (IT) projects.

Major Duties:

Organizes the work of the team, assigns tasks, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work.Possesses the leadership and organizational skills required to prioritize assignments and provide feedback to staff.Conducts performance management and career development processes, and staffing and disciplinary actions.Provides input and support to budget management process.Manages own work load/projects.Analyzes general ledger accounts, researches and resolves discrepancies, and compiles reports for management.Balances and reconciles the different system interfaces to the bank's general ledger system.May process vendor invoices for payment and enters data into the computer.Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management.Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees.May perform IT governance support work for the SOC, SOX and CCAR programs.


Knowledge:

Leadership and organizational skills are needed to prioritize assignments and provide feedback to staff.Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.Functional / Industry Knowledge is required.Knowledge of accounting and finance normally acquired through a four-year degree program or related work experience is required to perform financial analysis and accounting duties.Analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are necessary to analyze financial data and prepare reports.Technical skills/systems knowledge (e.g. Microsoft) is required.


Experience: A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience in accounting duties and/or financial analysis is preferred.
