PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the office of the Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy (Management) (DUSN (M)). Responsibilities You will be responsible for and manage tasks received through Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) and other tasker management systems. You will track actions and follow up as well as analyze issues/problems and provide written analyses, as needed. You will maintain a continuous liaison with other offices, service headquarters counterparts, and Department of Defense (DoD) counterparts to integrate actions and ensure timely response and coordination. You will plan and manage office administrative operations and activities relative to task management. You will appraise office administrative operations for effectiveness, quality, performance, and progress in meeting program objectives. You will work closely with senior level staff and provides guidance, training, and support on various administrative issues. You will compose letters, memoranda, statistics, organization data, and forms required to accomplish day-to-day work. You will prepare and deliver oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, and consultations with directorate staff to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters and convey information. You will also serve as back up to other Business Operations staff in areas such as training, DTS, and providing general administrative support, and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience working with tasker management software such as Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) and other digital platforms used to manage and track tasks to improve operation efficiency within an organization; Experience organizing and managing day to day operations and activities assuring efficiency of the command by composing, preparing and reviewing correspondence for leadership; Experience researching, compiling and computing statistical information for Federal reports and special projects; Experience working with all matters related to management and business operations; and Experience preparing presentations and briefs, and coordinating and giving training sessions to Senior level Staff.
