Program Team Lead I or II - Transitional Care Team

Join our growing Transitional Care Team! New River Valley Community Services is seeking a Program Lead for the Transitional Care Team (TCT). The Program Lead assists the Clinical Program Supervisor and/or Program Manager in a leadership role by providing direction in paperwork/documentation, as well as providing leadership, mentoring, and support to TCT clinicians and case managers. In addition to daily oversight of services, this position will perform OP clinical assessments and carry a caseload of TCT clients. The Program Lead will oversee the daily processes and psychotherapy to TCT individuals in addition to the duties of the Program Lead.

 

Starting Salary:

Program Team Lead I: $46,706

Program Team Lead II: $56,296

 

Education Requirements:

Program Team Lead I:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other licensed-eligible field is required. Registration for Resident in Counseling, Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy, or supervisee in Social Work with the State of Virginia is required. Professional license with the State of Virginia is preferred. Knowledge of mental health, substance abuse counseling, and co-occurring MH/SA treatment. Thorough knowledge of diagnosis and evaluation utilizing the DSM-V. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, especially when teaching, guiding and mentoring others. Demonstrated ability to multi-task.

Program Team Lead II:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other licensed-eligible field required. State of Virginia professional license is required. Knowledge of mental health, substance abuse counseling, and co-occurring MH/SA treatment.  Thorough knowledge of diagnosis and evaluation utilizing the DSM-V. Knowledge of agency and community resources, as well as community-based treatment. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, especially when teaching, guiding, and mentoring others. Demonstrated ability to multi-task.

Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages
