As part of our team, you can explore what motivates and energizes your career goals: partnering with our customers, our communities, and each other. **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the EFS Change team to support the design, delivery and implementation of EFS Change Initiatives, with initial focus on process mapping and documentation relation to Organisational Redesign and/or Operational Simplification. This role is for a 18 month fixed term role. The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal, influencing and communication skills, both written and verbal. With an ability to innovate, they will be highly organised and possess advanced analytical and problem solving skills. They will be self-driven and have the ability to lead initiatives with minimal management support. **Specifically, this candidate will be required to:** + Facilitate meetings and workshops with the aim of agreeing business requirements with key stakeholders from multi-displincary teams across EFS DAC. + Document detailed Business Requirements (BRD) and manage the approval process from requirements gathering to approval. + Document new and existing business process flows written in concise and easy to understand the terminology in a BRD. + Identify areas for improvement between new and exisiting operating processes to enable great efficiencies. + Identify risks in new and existing business processes and assist with writing of controls to remediate. + Document detailed system requirement to enable TOS to develop technical specifications. + Coordinate Review and Sign off the Business Requirements Documents with key stakeholders prior to handover to the technical and or implementation teams in conjunction with the project manager. + Analysis of complex situations with the ability to provide alternative solutions and recommendations – this may require the BA to challenge existing ways of working and processes. + Collaborate with developers during the technical design and implementation stages to ensure the effective implementation of projects. + Work with UAT teams during the testing stage to ensure that the documented requirements have been delivered, and are ready for deployment. + Provide post-implementation support where necessary until the solution is fully embedded – both from a process and IT perspective. **Technical Competencies for your Role - what are you expected to know?** + High degree of competence in Business Analysis and understanding how to drive deliverables with minimum management oversight + Experience of financial services regulations and regulatory environments and market environment + Payments and/or Corporate Trust Industry is desirable + Experience of the full project lifecycle from initial concept to implementation + Experience of running workshops with key stakeholders to facilitate requirements gathering + Experience writing detailed BRD’s in a clear and concise manner **Qualifications Required to perform your Role?** + Minimum of 5 years’ experience as business analyst or other role of comparable responsibility + Exceptional interpersonal, influencing and communication skills, both written and verbal + Advanced analytical and problem solving skills + Consultancy experience desirable **Competencies.** **Building and Maintaining Strong Relationships** + Creates strong and positive relationships with project team and key project stakeholders + Works with others to overcome challenges and proactively find workable solutions + Demonstrates engagement and enthusiasm to work with teams **Excellent Problem Solving Skills** + Excellent ability to assess and understand complex problems and challenges + Able to identify and articulate possible business solutions to resolve roadblocks + Thinks outside the box when required to solve new challenges + Innovative and flexible **Strong Written and Communication Skills** + Able to clearly articulate complex ideas and requirements in concise language (written and verbal) + Production of procedure manuals and training materials + Strong presentation skills **Planning and Organising** + Good planning and organisation skills + Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines + Self-starter **Drive for Results** + Demonstrates drive and ambition, both for project and personal success + Takes initiative and demonstrates innovation when required + Demonstrates the personal drive to do things better, more effectively, and in a way that exceeds goals **Risk** + Appropriately identify and manage risks associated with the project and communicates these to the project manager. + Understands the main risks associated with the project and / or impacted business processes + Has strong awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework within which the Group operates + Builds and maintains a culture that fosters the integration of good governance and strong controls into the design of strong business processes and solutions **Ethics and Trust** + Maintain high ethical standards;
