CMM Programmer

Job Summary

Program CMM equipment to meet product development & daily production needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Program CMM’s per Polaris requirementsSupport and provide input for CMM fixture developmentTrain others on proper equipment and measuring techniquesComplete first article inspections as neededDevelop and manage CMM maintenance routines, plans, and activitiesTroubleshoot CMM measurement issues (programming, hardware, etc.)Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Skills, Experience, & Education

2+ years of vigorous machining CMM ProgrammingStrong GD&T skills in machiningMachining backgroundStrong inspection first article inspection experienceStrong computer skillsQuality Inspection certification (CQA), preferred.Frequently able to lift or move up to 40 lbs.Constant exposure to indoor manufacturing environment.Occasional exposure to chemicals.Constant exposure to loud noise.Constantly wear required PPE (Industry standard safety equipment is provided by Polaris MCO).Definitions: Constant (6-8 hrs./shift) Frequent: (2-5 hrs./shift) Occasional: (Up to 2 hrs./shift)
