Complete Description:
DODD is seeking (2) Programmers to assist with building mobile applications.
DODD, like many entities, is actively working to improve processes and utilize technology to allow stakeholders and citizens to interact with DODD utilizing mobile devices. Current applications developed in the mobile environment allow customers to report incidents as they are seeing them, thus allowing for quicker response from us and counties to prevent health and safety issues. We are currently utilizing tools such as Phonegap and studying tools such as titanium in support of applications to be deployed across multiple platforms (IOS, Android). The (2) Consultants will be used to augment existing development staff to work on several new mobile application development initiatives. Experience designing, developing and deploying mobile applications using HTML 5, Jquery, Javascript and CSS technologies is needed to support this effort.
The Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team. Programmers typically are involved in maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work. Programmers have a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies used and applications supported by the Application Team. The Programmer works with the Functional Architect and Technical Architecture Specialist on an as needed basis to ensure that design and code meets customer requirements.
