Job Description
In this position, you will program low voltage in-building automation controls for building energy, climate, and security systems. You will program in Microsoft Visio Logic off of existing code, troubleshoot code, and execute the code onsite at construction sites. This role requires collaboration with electricians on job sites to integrate systems, and building graphics with control packages.
ResponsibilitiesProgram low voltage in-building automation controls for building energy, climate, and security systems.Hands on electrical and/or Mechanical experienceProgram in Microsoft Visio Logic based on existing code.Troubleshoot code and resolve any issues.Execute the code onsite at construction sites.Collaborate with electricians to go live with system integration.Build graphics with control packages.Essential SkillsExperience with software programming and writing code.Troubleshooting code.Installation experience in electrical, lighting, ventilation, heating/cooling, building access, and security systems.Computer skills, including experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Familiarity with construction plans and drawings.Valid driver’s license.Detail-oriented.Understanding of IP networking.Additional Skills & QualificationsCoursework in Boolean logic gates is ideal.Knowledge of HVAC controls is a plus.A two-year degree is a plus but not required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
