Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Programmer/Analyst: III (Senior) in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves working within the tech industry, utilizing strong Oracle and XML skills, and gaining a deep understanding of OFSAA suite of products. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating detailed business requirements into detailed design specifications and will play a key role in supporting Services Data Foundation and Data Integration Hub. Responsibilities: • Utilize your strong knowledge of the OFSAA suite of products to ensure efficient operations • Leverage your strong XML and Oracle skills in diverse project applications • Translate detailed business requirements and design solution architecture deliverables into detailed design specifications • Build and unit test to detailed design specifications ensuring high-quality outputs • Design and develop application configurations utilizing PL/SQL and Erwin Data Modeling • Partake in product support and on-call rotation to maintain smooth operations • Leverage strong Oracle technical skills in designing, developing, debugging, and documentation • Provide support for Services Data Foundation, Data Governance Studio, or Data Integration Hub • Use your strong understanding of Finance and Accounting principles in various project applications • Prepare and analyze required banking regulatory reports, using analytical platforms such as OFSAA Regulatory Reporting, BI tools, Tableau, etc. Requirements • Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, Tableau, Power BI, and XML technologies • Familiarity with database design, configuration management, and data management • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical jargon into layman's terms • Experience with analytics and business intelligence (BI) tools • Understanding of modeling techniques and visualization tools • Ability to debug applications and ensure conformance to specifications • Knowledge and experience in Finance, specifically, understanding of accounting principles and regulatory reporting • Experience in workstation support and delivering software solutions • Skill in creating clear and comprehensive documentation • Proficiency in translating business needs into technical specifications • Capability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously • Knowledge of A Plus software is a plus • Experience in a senior programmer or analyst role is preferred Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
