Seeking a qualified, passionate and energetic Programmer Analyst to join us as a SQL (SQL Server 2008) Developer, with .Net (C#) programming skills.
Job Duties:
· Provides architectural and “big picture” oversight for development of new or enhanced products.
· Translates customer business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for solutions and integrating architecture.
· Acts as an advocate for the customer, as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address customer’s business problems.
· Provides direction for design activities.
· Provides technical advice to other departments within the company, and is responsible for integrating components built by product developers.
· Analyzes the scope, timeline and specifications of tasks; delegates tasks to other architects. Writes implementation plans for enhancements and fixes.
· Provides technical assistance to support staff.
· Assists with implementations of enhancements and fixes by providing coding knowledge.
Must Have:
· Work on large web and systems integration projects in a SQL Server 2008 and .Net environment.
· Good interpersonal & communication skills.
· Experience in all Control Flow, Data Flow, Event Handler, Logging and Configuration mechanism of SSIS 2005/2008.
· Must have knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle, including but not limited to coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes & testing.
· Good knowledge in Data warehousing concepts
· Proficiency in building SSIS packages for refreshing the data mart and custom reports using SSRS
· Ability to work independently & collaboratively
· Ability to communicate design rationale.
· Ability to prioritize & manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to develop new approaches to design problems.
· Ability to set, manage and deliver on team and client expectations.
· Must be organized & have an eye for detail.
· Must have experience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems.
· Drives through ambiguity, self-motivated and thrives with minimal supervision.
· Confident, takes ownership, willingness to "do what it takes" to help the team get the job done.
· Must be willing to travel to our client sites
Education and Experience: A Bachelor's Degree or Higher in a Computer Related Field or Foreign Equivalent required.
