Harps Food Stores, Inc. has an immediate opening for an entry level Programmer Analyst. In this role, you will work on analyzing and developing software solutions to address business needs. Responsibilities:Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Development: Design and develop software applications, scripts, and tools to support business processes and enhance efficiency.Testing: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of software solutions.Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including system documentation and user guides.Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues as they arise.Collaboration: Work closely with senior programmers, analysts, and end-users to provide technical support and assistance.Qualifications:Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Programming Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (especially C# or VB.NET).Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.Database Knowledge: Familiarity with database management systems and SQL.Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and convey technical information clearly.Testing: Basic understanding of software testing principles and practices.Documentation: Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.Web Development: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.Team Player: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to programming and data analysis.Additional Information:Location: Harps General Office, Springdale, AREmployment Type: Full-timeCompensation: Competitive salary and benefits including Health Insurance, Life Insurance, 401K and ESOP.Career Growth: Opportunities for advancement within the company
