Bluehawk is actively seeking a Programmer Analyst. As a Programmer Analyst you will build and code applications and/or modules using languages such as C++, visual basic, ABAP, JAVA, XTML, etc.
ResponsibilitiesYou will work as part of a small development team. Although the majority of the technical work will be done independently, this role will require regular collaboration within and external to the development team.
You will:
Apply software engineering best practices to help refactor and productionize a high-visibility capability developed within Research.Manage the full-stack associated with the capability, including the database, compute, and web service.Prepare the capability for NGA CORE compliance, involving CI/CD, containerization, and interfacing with cloud services.Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems. May design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users. Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. May build add-on modules using application program language.
