SUMMARY The Programmer will be responsible for the design and development of WebFOCUS reports for AutoZone’s Commercial Department. The developer will do this by working with staff members to define the data needs, develop effective solutions, and deliver accurate results on time, in an easy-to-read format that meets client needs. RESPONSIBILITIES + + Design and develop logical and physical data models and create schema(s) based on the model to support IBI WebFOCUS. + Gather and analyze business requirements. + Develop interactive reports, dashboards, and visual insight analysis by creating reusable underlying objects like metrics, filters, and templates. + Work with analyst members, and understand business intelligence needs. + Provide written and/or verbal feedback on status of assigned tasks + Develop and document BI coding and naming standards, templates and metadata. + Provide technical and functional development of dashboard and mobile solutions. REQUIREMENTS + + Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or related field + A minimum of two years’ experience as a programmer + Dynamic HTML topics (JavaScript, CSS, Document Object Model, Ajax, etc.) + Strong SQL, Database and Server tuning skills + Plus: Experience with any BI development tool + Knowledge of Data Modeling, Statistical Analysis and Optimization + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills; Asks the right questions to understand root causes; develops the right solutions to meet needs. + Strong communication skills, written and verbal + Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work; ability to multitask across numerous work streams; meets deadlines. + Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team, willing to pitch in to help others, both a strong team player and individual contributor.
